Linux, SSH & Git
Terminal confidence, a server lab on your own laptop, and release discipline with Git and GitHub form the foundation every deployment stands on.
A practical 6 week program taught by a working DevOps Engineer.
Terminal confidence, a server lab on your own laptop, and release discipline with Git and GitHub form the foundation every deployment stands on.
Use Docker, Docker Compose and GitHub Actions to package the app with its database, then build, test, scan and deploy it automatically on every push, with SonarQube Cloud and Trivy as security gates.
Provision a cloud server with Terraform, then operate it with logs, health checks and backups.
In week 6 you present a portfolio deployment running on your own cloud server. It is a learning environment, not production hosting, but every artifact is public, clickable and yours to link on your CV.
Running on a real cloud server you provisioned yourself with a guided Terraform apply, behind a real HTTPS address.
GitHub Actions builds, tests, scans and deploys your app on every push, with SonarQube Cloud and Trivy included, green and public on your GitHub.
The whole system on one page, as the artifact interviewers ask you to walk through.
A real incident you debugged and fixed, told the way engineers tell it.

You don't need to be a programmer, but you should be comfortable opening a terminal, making basic Git commits, and know roughly how a website works. Not there yet? Start with the free Discovery Session and we'll point you to the right preparation first.
You'll have taken a real web app from source code to a live public deployment: containerised with Docker, tested and deployed automatically with GitHub Actions, on infrastructure provisioned with Terraform, with a GitHub portfolio that proves it.
Small groups mean direct feedback every session, a personal learning path, and real conversation, not recorded videos you watch alone. You'll actually get unstuck when you're stuck.
Ubuntu Linux in a local VM, Git and GitHub, Docker and Docker Compose, GitHub Actions with SonarQube Cloud and Trivy scans, Terraform and PostgreSQL, plus the everyday debugging tools: curl, docker logs, journalctl. Kubernetes is deliberately left for after this course; you leave with a clear roadmap into it.
In the final week you polish and present your Deployment Portfolio Artifact: the live deployed app, its CI/CD pipeline, an architecture diagram and a written troubleshooting story. It's a real portfolio piece you can link on your CV and GitHub.
